Dedication
Spending hours practicing and training, Watching football games, and analyzing strategies, Eating a healthy diet to maintain physical fitness are some of my daily routines to keep myself active and ready for the next round.

For me learning from mistakes is an important part of improvement along with teamwork and communication. I work towards my goals and plan every step to achieve them.
About Landon10 county athletes selected to Blue Bell/TSWA All-State Football Team
After being one of the nation's leading rushers, Godley junior running back Landon Thigpen earned first-team recognition on the Blue Bell/TSWA Class 4A All-State Football Team. Thigpen is one of 10 players from Johnson County to appear on the TSWA All-State Team from the 2022 season.
Ten student-athletes from Johnson County earned recognition on the 2022 Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers’ Association All-State Football Team, including first-team honors for Godley junior Landon Thigpen and Grandview senior Coen Sanders.
Thigpen had a record-setting season for the Wildcats as he rushed for 3,047 yards and 28 touchdowns on 368 carries to lead Godley to the regional semifinals. Thigpen finished as the second-leading rusher in the state of Texas and the 12th-leading rusher in the nation.
And after being named all-district offensive player of the year and All-Johnson County co-MVP, now Thigpen is a TSWA Class 4A First-Team All-State selection.

Godley Wildcat running back Landon Thigpen leads a fifteen-player contingent earning all-district football honors following the 2022 season.
The Godley High School football players received District 4-4A honors following the season, which saw Wildcats advance to the regional playoffs in Class 4A Division II.
Thigpen, a junior, was named Offensive Player of the Year.
